The renowned five-star venue, Crossbasket Castle, has officially opened its doors to the public with the highly anticipated debut of its upscale hotel and entertainment-led restaurant, Trocadero’s, on 21 March.
The venue, set within 14 acres of scenic countryside just outside Glasgow, has been meticulously crafted by owners Alison and Steve Timoney. The development aims to transport guests back to a forgotten era, with interiors designed to capture the glamour and sophistication of the art-deco style popular during the 1920s and 1930s. The elegant, international-inspired design features opulent fabrics, rich earth tones of greens, oranges, and browns, and bespoke soft furnishings that complement the breathtaking natural surroundings.
The hotel’s opening comes after years of planning and introduces an entirely unique concept to the luxury market. Trocadero’s restaurant, overseen by Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux, offers a captivating blend of fine dining, expertly crafted cocktails, and live music performances, providing an electrifying dining experience unlike anything else in Scotland.
