In only four months since its opening, Hotel Polaris has achieved the prestigious four-diamond rating from AAA. Located just outside the Air Force Academy’s north gate, the 375-room hotel becomes the sixth property in the Pikes Peak region to earn this distinction. It is also the region’s first new four-diamond hotel since The Lodge at Flying Horse received the same honor in 2019.
Other four-diamond properties in the region include Cheyenne Mountain Resort, The Mining Exchange, and Garden of the Gods Resort & Club in Colorado Springs, as well as The Cliff House at Pikes Peak in Manitou Springs.
The four-diamond rating is highly sought after in the hospitality industry. Among nearly 23,000 AAA Diamond-rated lodgings in the U.S., only about 7%, or roughly 1,750 properties, carry the four-diamond designation.
