Rosewood Hotel Group has recently achieved certification from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) for several of its properties. This includes Rosewood Abu Dhabi and Rosewood Jeddah in the GCC region. The certification, awarded by Bureau Veritas, an accredited GSTC body, now covers 47 properties across Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, New World Hotels & Resorts, and Carlyle & Co.
To qualify for GSTC certification, hotels must meet four key criteria: effective sustainable management, social and economic benefits for local communities, preservation of cultural heritage, and environmental responsibility.
Rosewood Hotel Group remains committed to upholding the highest environmental and social standards across its portfolio. The group incorporates eco-friendly initiatives at every level of operation, from sustainable design and ethical sourcing to community-driven programs aimed at supporting local economies and preserving cultural heritage.
