Malaysia’s iKHASAS Group Invests RM90 Million to Expand Sepang Flagship Hotel

by Angela

iKHASAS Group is making a major investment in the expansion of its flagship hotel in Sepang, Malaysia, allocating RM90 million to meet the increasing demand from both local and international travelers. The expansion comes less than a year after the hotel’s launch, highlighting the growing appeal of the resort-style property.

The hotel, previously known as Concorde Inn KLIA, now operates under the brand ibis Styles Sepang KLIA following a significant redevelopment and rebranding effort. This effort was part of a joint venture between ISY Holdings Sdn Bhd and iKHASAS Group, which initially invested RM55 million in 2019 to redevelop the property.

The official launch of the ibis Styles Sepang KLIA in February marked a significant milestone for Malaysia’s hospitality industry. The event was attended by prominent dignitaries, including the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, and the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

The hotel, which currently offers 229 rooms, is managed by Accor Group, a global hospitality leader with over 5,700 hotels in more than 110 countries. Syed Yusof, a representative of iKHASAS Group, expressed optimism about the hotel’s potential to contribute to Malaysia’s tourism industry, emphasizing the significant role it will play in attracting visitors from around the world.
