Portugal’s Cascais will soon be home to a new luxury hotel offering from IHG Hotels & Resorts, featuring two premium brands and stunning views. The 309-room dual-branded hotel, a collaboration with Grupo Onyria, will include Onyria Marinha Cascais, Vignette Collection, and Kimpton Quinta da Marinha Cascais, set to open next year.
This new addition is part of IHG’s rapidly expanding luxury and lifestyle portfolio, which is now the second largest globally. It will help further develop Portugal’s growing hotel market, which already boasts six open properties and eight more on the way. New developments include Kimpton Atlântico Algarve, Kimpton Lisbon, Convent Square Lisbon (Vignette Collection), and Casa da Companhia Hotel & Spa (Vignette Collection). IHG also has plans for the Six Senses Comporta, opening in 2028, and Hotel Indigo Albufeira, expected in 2025, strengthening its presence in the luxury sector.
The new hotels will be located in the peaceful Quinta da Marinha area within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Guests will be just a short walk from sandy beaches, local shops, and various dining spots. The properties are also less than 30 minutes from Lisbon International Airport, making it easy to access the capital.
