IHG Hotels & Resorts’ boutique lifestyle brand, Hotel Indigo, has officially opened its first property in New Zealand, Hotel Indigo Auckland, located in Midtown on Albert Street.
The new 225-room hotel brings a unique local flavor to the City of Sails, offering a vibrant destination that blends Auckland’s rich history, culturally inspired art, and global culinary influences. The hotel is designed to be a storyteller, connecting guests with the neighborhood through its design and offerings.
Matt Tripolone, IHG Hotels & Resorts’ managing director for Australasia & Pacific, expressed excitement about the hotel’s opening, saying, “Hotel Indigo is one of the world’s leading boutique lifestyle brands, and we’re thrilled to see its debut in Auckland. This marks the fifth Hotel Indigo in Australasia, and we’re proud of our partnership with Ninety-Four Feet on this landmark development.”
