Meliá Hotels International is set to bring its prestigious Paradisus by Meliá brand to Asia for the first time, with the transformation of its iconic Meliá Bali into Paradisus Bali. Scheduled to open in December 2024, the newly rebranded hotel will offer an exclusive all-inclusive luxury experience in one of Indonesia’s most sought-after destinations.
Originally opened 40 years ago as Meliá Bali, the hotel was the group’s first international property, located outside Spain. Now, a full renovation is underway to elevate the guest experience, incorporating the signature experiential luxury of the Paradisus brand. This rebranding is part of Meliá Hotels International’s broader strategy to strengthen its portfolio and enhance profitability.
The new Paradisus by Meliá Bali will feature 485 Luxury Suites and seven Villas, along with lush tropical gardens, lagoons, and four pools. Guests will have access to eight upscale restaurants offering global cuisine and 12 locations throughout the property serving premium drinks.
A standout feature of the renovation is the introduction of distinct spaces catering to various guest needs. The Reserve, an adults-only area, will offer exclusive services and refined facilities, while the Family Concierge will provide a luxury experience tailored for families, complete with personalized service and amenities for all ages.
The Paradisus brand is also introducing its Destination-Inclusive® program in Bali, which focuses on guest immersion in the destination’s culture and nature while promoting holistic well-being. Daily exclusive experiences both inside and outside the property will allow guests to explore Bali’s rich offerings.
Additionally, the YHI Spa will provide a variety of treatments in a serene garden setting, including a 12-treatment room sanctuary and a circuit pool for ultimate relaxation.
