Accor has partnered with Indian conglomerate InterGlobe Enterprises to reshape India’s travel and hospitality landscape with an ambitious plan to rapidly scale their hotel presence. The new venture aims to grow to 300 hotels by 2030, integrating Accor’s current operations and tapping into the company’s global expertise to enhance the hospitality experience in India.
This collaboration consolidates Accor’s existing hotel assets, development initiatives, and management frameworks into a unified platform. The partnership will significantly strengthen Accor’s position in India, expanding its portfolio to include both luxury and lifestyle brands, including those under Ennismore, Accor’s dynamic boutique brand. Additionally, the strategic partnership with Treebo Hotels will accelerate the growth of Accor’s Ibis and Mercure brands, targeting India’s largely unbranded hotel market.
As one of India’s largest hospitality joint ventures, the new platform will take charge of expanding Accor’s full range of hotel offerings across the country, from high-end luxury to experience-driven boutique properties, while Accor continues to maintain control over brand stewardship and operational leadership. This venture will also benefit from Accor’s global systems and capabilities to offer unparalleled service across the country.
