Westport is set to receive a significant economic lift with the opening of the Grace Hotel in spring 2026. Located on the scenic Westport Estate, the new luxury hotel aims to become a standout destination along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
The hotel will feature 129 rooms, a full spa and wellness center, and spacious areas for guests to relax. It will be part of the 430-acre Westport Estate, offering visitors a unique combination of comfort and natural beauty.
Barry O’Connor, CEO of Westport Estate, said the hotel is a key part of their long-term vision for the area. “The Grace plays a central role in how we’re reimagining Westport Estate,” he said. “This is a special part of the world, and our goal is to create a space where guests feel the richness of Mayo’s culture, landscape, and people.”
The hotel is expected to create a wave of new job opportunities and strengthen the region’s hospitality sector, which continues to thrive along Ireland’s western coast.
