The Bucharest hotel market saw continued growth in 2024, with improvements in RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) and occupancy rates. Notably, the Average Daily Rate (ADR) surpassed the 100-euro mark for the first time, according to real estate consulting firm Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
This positive market performance is expected to fuel further investment in new hotel developments. By 2027, more than 1,000 new hotel rooms are set to be added to Bucharest’s current supply, spanning across various segments, from midscale to luxury.
Looking ahead to 2025, the market is expected to see a fruitful year with two planned hotel openings and one refurbishment and extension. A major highlight in 2025 is the opening of the Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest, which has already welcomed its first guests.
In 2024, the market also saw the addition of the Ramada by Wyndham Bucharest Otopeni Airport, marking another significant expansion.
