A significant portion of the pipeline consists of projects scheduled to begin within the next 12 months. There are 2,286 such projects, with a total of 263,370 rooms planned to break ground. Both the number of projects and rooms in this category saw a 1% year-on-year increase.
The most notable growth occurred in the early planning phase, where the number of projects increased by 10%, and room numbers rose by 13% compared to the previous year. Currently, there are 2,938 projects and 340,823 rooms in the early planning stage, reflecting a positive outlook for the future of the hotel construction industry.
