Global hospitality group Minor Hotels has signed a deal for the Avani+ Fujairah Resort, slated to open in 2028. This new property will mark the debut of the Avani brand in the emirate of Fujairah, further enhancing Minor Hotels’ strategic presence in the UAE.
Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor International Group and Minor Hotels, expressed excitement about the milestone, stating, “We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Avani+ Fujairah Resort, which will be a significant addition to our portfolio in the UAE and our first resort in the emirate. Fujairah’s growing potential as a leisure destination is an excellent match for Avani’s focus on stylish, experience-driven hospitality. We are also pleased to deepen our long-term partnership with Al Fahim through this exciting project.”
The beachfront resort will be located along the Gulf of Oman on Fujairah’s eastern coastline. It will feature 232 hotel rooms and 16 villas, ranging in size from three to five bedrooms, offering a blend of luxury and comfort for guests.
This development is part of a collaborative effort with UAE-based conglomerate Al Fahim, a valued partner of Minor Hotels. The partnership, which began with the opening of Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites, continues to grow through the launch of Avani+ Fujairah Resort, developed by Al Fahim’s hospitality investment arm, Emirates Property Investment Company (EPICO).
